Book a stay with family or friends at this three-bedroom cottage with all the latest mod cons, just metres from Brixham’s amenities. Take the 100 steps (or slope) from the cottage into the centre of the town, where you can visit a heritage museum, the working fishing port, coffee shops, antique stores, eateries and more. Walk the 1.5 miles to see the lighthouses at the end of the breakwater and at Berry Head (where you can also go fishing). Tee off on Churston Golf Course, just over 2 miles by car, and bathe in the waters of Churston Cove, 1 mile on foot.
On entering the hallway, you’ll find the en-suite master bedroom on the left; to the right is a roomy twin bedroom with floor-to-ceiling wardrobes. Also on this floor is a wet room with a walk-in waterfall shower, a free-standing bath, underfloor heating and WC. The third bedroom, a double, is located on the upper floor, along with a separate WC. Continue up a few more steps and you will reach the kitchen/dining area with granite worktops, a coffee machine and a table around which the whole family can dine. Adjacent to this is the lounge with long sofas and a huge bay window for you to recline and enjoy the views of Brixham.
A door from the master bedroom leads to a pebbled garden with benches where you can enjoy the evening sunlight with a glass of wine. To the rear, with access from the hallway through a low-height doorway, is a small courtyard and the property’s own exclusive ‘Pirate Cave’.
