A very well appointed property with some internal quirky ornaments. A nice location, so long as you dont mind steep hills and steps, however the climb from the harbour to the top floor of the house was worth it for the views. Parking was never an issue with permits provided for both cars in our booking.

The house is lovely but afraid the area is not. Fortunately we decided not to move the car all week, but could have been a worry to park it again. The Area is quite run down, not really a holiday destination

We had a happy and comfortable stay at Ridsdale House. It has all you need in this quirky 3 story building. I would definitely consider staying again should I return to Scarborough.

Ridsdale House was a perfect base for our first visit to Scarborough: comfortable, well-appointed, spacious and light. We loved the location in the heart of the old town, and the views from the bedrooms over South Bay were lovely to wake up to. Parking was not a problem with the scratch-card system. We didn't move the car all week and went everywheRead morere on foot - there was plenty to see close at hand! I would say, though, that one needs to be physically able to enjoy this house - the stairs are a little narrow and steep, but that wasn't a problem for us. Hide

Ridsdale House was spotlessly clean, warm, welcoming and homely. The views are magnificent, the garden beautiful and the rooms were filled with curiosities. The location is just a short walk from north bay and the local indoor market.
