This characterful property, modernised in Autumn 2023, is a great choice for couples or a small family and is set on the first and second floors of a large traditional townhouse in a sought-after part of St Ives. You'll find yourself less than half a mile from a fantastic array of shops, restaurants and pubs. The town is considered one of Cornwall's top destinations and the scenery and quality of the light found here has been attracting painters, sculptors and ceramicists for decades. Lose yourself for hours in charming cobbled streets crammed with gift and craft shops and art galleries – this town is a real treasure trove just waiting to be explored. St Ives also has four fabulous beaches (Porthmeor, Porthgwidden, Harbour Beach and Porthminster) which between them offer miles of golden sand and hours of building sandcastles, playing in rock pools and other family-friendly activities.

The entrance to the building is up 10 steps with a handrail and there are stairs to the apartment entrance on the first floor. As you walk into the lounge/diner you’ll be struck by the views – take a seat in the easy chair set in front of the large bay window to take them in no matter what time of year. Original wood floors, a feature fireplace and a dining table for two completes the scene. To the rear of the property is the compact kitchen with exposed stone walls and one of the bedrooms – with twin beds and a feature fireplace – as well as a bathroom. Head upstairs for the double bedroom, furnished with a TV and boasting fantastic views to the rear and front of the property. A cloakroom on this floor provides an additional WC.

The south-facing terrace has a decked area with bench seating and a table and chairs and is surrounded by foliage for privacy.

It is a really nice cottage with a lot of space. The best is the view from the livingroom.

Very clean and comfortable apartment in an excellent location, quiet but so close to town and the beaches. Main issue was the confusion over the lack of a parking space which meant one had to park in a long stay car park a third of a mile away. This posed problems when returning from a day out as there were not always spaces available but you had aRead morelready paid for a week's parking. Hide

Lovely apartments located in the heart of St Ives. Everything is within 5 minutes walking distance. Every you need is provided for - home from home. Very comfortable mattresses. Only issue might be access for some people as it's located at the top of the hill so you need to be fit. We loved the property and location and were very impressed that you resolved the problem with the hot water on a Sunday and made a follow up call the next day to check everything was ok.

Good location with great views, car parking about 10 mins away with an uphill walk. Facilities throughout the property were excellent and spotlessly clean. We will definitely be revisiting this property in the near future.
