Downstairs the living accommodation is open-plan, comprising a cosy reading corner, a living room with a wood burner in a feature stone fireplace, plus bi-fold doors that open up to let the outside in. The contemporary kitchen and dining room with light wood table seating nine complete this space. Up the open-tread wooden staircase are two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and WC. There’s also a twin room. All bedrooms have TVs and attractive furniture and there’s a large bathroom with bath and WC, and another shower room and WC.

Outside, there’s an attractive stone-floored yard with mature planted beds on either side and recliners, plus a patio near the house with a table and chairs. It’s a perfect enclosed spot to have breakfast, evening drinks or just soak up the sun during the day. There’s an outhouse with a utility room at the end of this garden.

A lovely cottage in a great location but work is required with a number of items of furnishings and equipment, which need to be upgraded or replaced.

Lovely big and well equipped house, all beds were comfortable and having so many options for washing/bathing was a bonus with lots of people staying in the house. The kitchen was well equipped, maybe just 1 more baking tray would be useful. Lots of board games in the house to use, which came in handy during our stay. The location was great, so closRead moree to the beach, lots of walks were enjoyed by everyone. A friendly town, with many local shops, where you could buy everything you needed for your stay. The outside utility room was bonus, meaning we could do some laundry whilst we were away- no one enjoys the big pile of washing when they get home. Overall a very reasonably priced property that we would definitely recommend to friends and family. Hide

We had an awesome holiday here. We walked along the coastal path and also tried climbing a mountain? We really enjoyed our time here.

Amazing property in a brilliant location. We couldnt have asked for anything better. Loads of space for 6 adults and 2 infants. Everything we needed was provided. Its modern, spacious and comfortable, set in the heart of the town. Was a bit worried about needing to park three cars on the street however there were always spaces. If the owners hadRead more let us know when bin men were due we would have put bins out but as it was the bin men as bin full on arrival as was bottle container. Not a problem for us though as its at the bottom of a large garden and we added our own black bags to the collection! We would definitely recommend it and if in the area again I would certainly book this property. Hide

Everything was lovely, apart from a few minor niggles. Having to leave at 10am....does it really take 6 hours to clean that property? Most places now allow you to leave at 11am. 1 baking tray - not great when you're cooking a roast dinner. No dishwasher tablets, no dishcloth and two very thin, poor tea towels - we had to purchase all of these thingRead mores. As I said, just a few small niggles which could easily be rectified. Property was lovely though. Hide

Aberaeron is a hidden gem. Stubborn Duckling and the Cellar are amazing for food. The Hive also great and the view well worth it. Aberystwyth is steeped in history. What a wonderful stay. Thank you for a much needed min break.
