This lovely, detached property, set over two floors and delightfully spacious, is perfect for groups of friends or families looking for a relaxed escape near the coast of County Cork. The cottage has views across the islands beyond Baltimore Harbour and is a great choice, with so much to do within 10 miles. Baltimore (0.5 miles) is a popular fishing village with delicious eateries, Glebe Garden, and the Baltimore Beacon. From Baltimore, take a ferry trip to discover Sherkin Island, go whale and dolphin watching, or take to the water at one of the sailing schools. Lough Hyne (3 miles) is perfect for nature lovers, and offers plenty of walking and kayaking opportunities. All ages can enjoy the beautiful sandy beach at Tragumna (6 miles), perfect for paddling and sand castles.

This stylish and contemporary property is furnished with colourful decor to create a vibrant energy and inviting spaces for family and friends to socialise, with coastal themes offering a homely feel throughout. On the ground floor, unwind in the relaxing surroundings of the lounge, complete with comfortable furnishings inviting you to curl up, a warming open fire, and large TV. When it’s time to eat, the chef will find a well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room, boasting everything needed to whip up memorable meals for the group. Adding to this room’s character is a crackling wood burner and a charming breakfast table for four, ideal for morning coffees after some of the group have already headed out. When it’s time to enjoy the chef’s work, gather in the diner/lounge, with more space to eat and comfortable seating to crash into after a filling meal. Completing the ground floor is an inviting double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The remaining two bedrooms are found upstairs; another double bedroom but with an en-suite bathroom, and a twin room with an en-suite shower room.

Outside, take in the marvellous views from the large, sloped garden that almost surrounds the entire house, a lovely spot to bask in the sun or let children play. On warmer days, fire up the BBQ and gather at the outdoor table and chairs, the perfect ingredients for an al fresco meal or evening tipple.
