This airy and attractive bungalow is surrounded by greenery, with countryside views as far as the eye can see. Sleeping six across three bedrooms and boasting a wonderful, wrap-around garden, this is the perfect base for families or groups of friends from which to explore their gorgeous surroundings. Found on a quiet road just 2 miles from the village of Fethard-on-Sea, guests are ideally based to reach the many attractions nearby. Set on the Hook Peninsula, you have easy access to numerous sandy beaches, pretty fishing villages and the Hook Head Lighthouse – the oldest in Europe. Head to nearby Baginbun Beach (1 mile), a fine sandy beach, sheltered and secluded, making it ideal for paddling, kayaking and swimming. Away from the coast, there is plenty of history to discover, with Tintern (7.5 miles) and Dunbrody Abbeys (12.5 miles) well worth a visit. Hikers and walkers also have plenty of choices, so lace up your walking boots and head to the May Park Trail (16 miles) and Forth Mountain Walk (20 miles) to experience a range of scenic landscapes.

The welcoming property is furnished in a contemporary style, with a coastal theme and hues in the decor. The rooms are light and airy, creating inviting social spaces for the group to chill out together. The social heart is no doubt the open-plan living space that combines the lounge/diner/kitchen, the perfect spot to spend the evening together after a day in the elements. The lounge space boasts cosy, cream-coloured seating set around a crackling wood burner and TV, with lovely views to be enjoyed through the room’s large window. When it’s time to eat, move through to the chic kitchen, equipped with everything needed to cook for the group, who can gather at the nearby dining table to reflect on the day over a delicious meal. When it’s time to turn in, find the three scenic bedrooms that await, all boasting plenty of storage space - two double rooms and a bunk room. Serving the bedrooms and completing the interior is a well-appointed shower room and WC.

Outside, take in the far-reaching views from the large, decked area, accessed from the kitchen. Here, you can enjoy morning cuppas or al fresco evening meals, and watch on as little ones play safely in the verdant, enclosed garden.
