Both Annascaul (5.5 miles) and Dingle (14.5 miles) have some friendly pubs and restaurants to unwind in, with a wealth of historic landmarks and popular attractions along the peninsula including Annascaul Lake, the Old Railway Water Tower, Minard Castle and the Ardamore Standing Stone, all within 11 miles.
This light-filled, spacious cottage features an airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wooden flooring and picture windows. The lounge area has wonderful views, ample seating and a welcoming wood burner set in an impressive brick surround, while the country-style dining table is surrounded by the beautifully co-ordinated country-style kitchen with stone tiling and plenty of storage space. A spacious and pretty second lounge also has beautiful views, as does the charming conservatory which has panoramic windows, allowing everyone plenty of space to unwind in. The ground floor boasts a refreshing bathroom, a handy utility room and the first two of the cottage’s four comfortable bedrooms: both cheerful doubles, one with its own en-suite shower room. Stairs lead up to two further bedrooms: a charming double and a cosy triple room with a double and single bed. Both these rooms have their own en-suite shower rooms, and all the bedrooms have attractive wooden wardrobes.
Heading outside, the elevated patio area has plenty of garden furniture and a BBQ, offering a wonderful spot for you all to sit back on a sunny afternoon, dine alfresco and take in the spectacular views out across the bay.
