The Beara Peninsula has a number of quiet beaches, with Pallas Pier, just half a mile away, forming the southern part of Ardgroom Harbour. The village of Ardgroom (1.5 miles) has a pub, shop and restaurant, with the ancient Ardgroom Stone Circle and the beautiful Glenbeg Lough both within 3 miles. The peninsula is a great base for sailing, boat trips, kayaking and fishing trips, with other local attractions including Tooth Mountain, Derreen Garden and the Rabach Way, all within 10 miles.

This cheerful holiday farmhouse features a spacious and engaging lounge/diner with wood burners at each side of the room, providing a cosy and inviting atmosphere. With the first wood burner set in a brick surround, the pretty lounge area also has a TV, plenty of seating and a range of books and games to keep you occupied. Set against a tiled background, the second wood burner helps make the airy dining area a perfect spot for sharing family feasts. A door leads through to a fully equipped country-style kitchen with plenty of worktops and beautiful wooden cupboards. A traditional staircase leads from the main living area up to the first floor which offers a refreshing shower room and two delightful bedrooms: a comfortable twin with a low window, and a lovely double with light streaming in through the skylights in the sloping ceiling.

The farmhouse is surrounded by 9 acres of peaceful woodlands with beautifully maintained gardens and a charming, paved sun terrace offering glorious views across the water. There’s plenty of outdoor furniture, providing space to sit back and take in the stunning scenery as you enjoy a spot of al fresco dining.
