We've been self-catering in Ireland for more than 40 years. Once or twice every year and this property is one of the best we've stayed in. The hosts are lovely. The cottage was perfect in every way.

Very good welcome , quiet place in a rural location. Good advice from the landlord for walking around. Weather permitted to enjoy outdoor table and chairs for 5 o' clock tea after good day. No dryer but equipment ( indoor and outdoor) to have the cloches dry.

My wife and I spent a lovely week in this beautiful cottage, which is well located near Lough Hyne and not too far from Baltimore and Skibbereen. The cottage, which is beautifully furnished and well equipped, is a very comfortable place to relax and unwind and we felt very much at home there. The owners are lovely: very welcoming, friendly and helpRead moreful. We certainly hope to be able to return in the future. Hide

My family are unlikely to ask who we booked with, also unlikely to visit far SW Ireland. But if they did we would definitely recommend this cottage.
