The charming property sits around 700 metres from Holt’s main high street, where you’ll find a delightful mixture of chain stores, independent boutiques, second-hand shops, and antique rooms. You'll also find plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants catering to all tastes. The Georgian town is surrounded by parks and countryside dotted with historic properties and gardens. Holt Country Park (1 mile) offers 100 acres of mixed woodland to explore. And the town is less than 5 miles from the Norfolk coast, where you can find beautiful beaches, nature reserves and wildlife-watching opportunities.

This historic cottage includes spacious rooms and every comfort you could require during your stay. Store your outdoor shoes and coats in the entrance hall before heading through to the lounge, a lovely, light room with ample seating and a wood burner. Continue into the dining room, where you’ll find a second wood burner, table and chairs for four, and a two-seater sofa. An archway connects this room to the kitchen, a beautifully finished space with rustic terracotta floor tiles alongside contemporary fixtures and fittings. This room is fully equipped with everything you need including a Nespresso machine, a breakfast bar with stools, and an easy chair. Finishing off the ground floor is a handy cloakroom and an outhouse transformed into a bright, airy second sitting room with a sofa and another dining table. The first floor encompasses a quaint twin room, a pretty double room, a study with a desk and chair, and a fantastic bathroom with a free-standing bath and a large walk-in rainfall shower.

The garden has a lawn and a patio with garden furniture, which makes it an ideal space for entertaining in warm weather.

Please note: We do not provide the logs or starter kit for the wood burner. Please note there is a step down into bathroom and a step between the dining room and kitchen.

We enjoyed our weeks holiday at Rose Brick Cottage, and would be happy to stay there again. The location is good a short drive to the coast, Blakey and Cley less than 5 miles away, and the walk into the centre of Holt an easy 10 minutes walk.

This cottage is spacious and well equipped. The location is excellent for exploring the whole of North Norfolk, while being close enough to the centre of Holt to be able to walk to the pubs and restaurants. Holt itself is an interesting place to visit.

We had a fabulous week at Rose Brick cottage as a family with two children. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. If anything it was better than it looked from the photos! We didnt use the garden room this time but it would be lovely to sit out there in the summer with a coffee or a glass of wine. A bit of attention and you could make this property a 5 star property. We enjoyed our time at the cottage but the weather was awful and really spoiled our break, looking at the price we paid and the fact it is a 6 day stay due to the arrival time of after4pm I feel better value would be to travel abroad. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was in a perfect location for access to Holt and for visiting sightseeing places around North Norfolk. The house offered everything we needed as a family with a lovely garden too. The bedrooms are both good sizes with comfy beds. The house was really well equipped which made life really easy witRead moreh two young children in tow. I only have two comments, one is the balustrade on the stairs which has large gaps which if I had a toddler I would have been very concerned about. Absolutely fine for my 5 year old and 3 month old to stay well away from but for a child between 1-4 years old it wouldn't be safe. There is also a very small step into the kitchen from the dining room - absolutely fine once we knew it was there but we all tripped over it the first time! Maybe just a white line would highlight it! Overall a great holiday home and we would definitely recommend it. Hide
