This spacious two-storey cottage in a small village on the edge of the Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is ideal for a group of friends or family. Bromeswell is a quiet village surrounded by impressive countryside which offers a pub, cafe and a fishing lake. The port town of Woodbridge (3 miles) which sits next to the River Deben is an excellent place to visit for picturesque narrow streets, shops, a variety of restaurants and history. Bawdsey Beach (10.5 miles) and Shingle Street (8.5 miles) are the closest shorelines to visit for a dip or coastal stroll. Or, head to Rendlesham Forest (5 miles) for nature watching, walking routes and cycling trails.

As soon as you step inside this cottage, you’ll notice how bright and airy it is. The sitting room has a laid-back and homely feel with two comfortable sofas which surround a wood burner and Smart TV. At one end of the room, there is a large, glass sliding door which opens the room up to the outside space and keeps it light inside. Continue into the spacious, open-plan, kitchen/diner/snug where you’ll be met with a welcoming and cosy atmosphere. The kitchen offers a range oven and a fridge/freezer as well as wooden surface tops on the fitted ‘U’-shaped kitchen, which give it a farmhouse feel. The dining space and snug are in the sunroom and sit beneath an expansive skylight. On one side is the dining table, which seats six, and on the other, beside the glass patio doors, is a boho-style sofa, an armchair and a pouffe. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Climb the stairs to reach the first floor, where you’ll find the remaining bedrooms, bathroom and separate WC. Make yourself at home in the master bedroom, where you’ll find a king-size bed and an en-suite with a lavish free-standing bath, a shower and a WC. The final bedroom also has a king-size bed.

This property boasts a front and rear garden. The former is an enclosed courtyard while, at the rear, there is a spacious grassy garden surrounded by blooming flower beds and mature trees. Additionally, there is a paved area with comfortable outdoor furniture for six, which has the optional shelter of a parasol.

Absolutely beautiful place and so incredibly comfortable. Such a peaceful setting with enclosed garden for the dog, she loved it! Only one TV in the lounge, not in the orangery as per photo. Would definitely stay again, beds and sofas super comfy and really clean.

This was our second stay and we continued to enjoy it,The house is comfortable, well-equipped and spacious. We would have made much more use of the very nice garden if the weather had not been so wet. Shopping in Woodbridge is only 10 minutes away by car. A good house for families and children.

Wonderful property. Very comfortable for 6 guests each with double rooms. Large kitchen and two large lounges great for eating and socialising. Good location within short driving distance of eateries and good walks.

The Willows was spacious, quiet, comfortable and very well-equipped. It also has a large enclosed garden ideal for both people and pets, with a good outside eating area. Very fast broadband. This was the nicest place we have stayed in with our family for many years and the dog was very happy too! There were no real snags either in the propertRead morey or the local area. Hide
