This charming and spacious barn conversion dating back to the 1880’s is the ideal getaway for exploring this beautiful part of Norfolk. The village of Runham sits in a unique landscape and its location close to the East Coast beaches and within The Broads National Park, means that you have the best of both worlds. The area is fantastic cycling country, try your hand at The Broads Explorer loop. The coast hosts some beautiful sandy beaches; Winterton-on-Sea and Horsey are less than 10 miles away. At Horsey get up close and personal with the resident seal colony. The Broads National Park boasts 125 miles of inlets and waterways to explore. Seek out the Canoe Man who will take you in a kayak to explore some of the quieter reaches of the river systems – a perfect escape from your everyday world.
As you step foot into this boutique style barn with an upside-down living layout, on the ground floor you will find two stylish and spacious bedrooms, both with super king-sized beds and with the option in one of the rooms to have these split into twin beds. On this floor you will also find the bathroom which has been thoughtfully decorated and offers a bath with an overhead shower. Upstairs you will find the large open plan living and dining area with comfortable seating and dining space. This space has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished creating a wonderful blend of the traditional features, with the wooden beams and feature fireplace, with modern touches and decor. Next door to the living area you will find the kitchen which his well-equipped, offering everything you could wish for to prepare a home cooked feast.
Outside, to the side of the barn, you will find the large enclosed lawned garden with seating areas and unique planters throughout. The perfect space for friends to enjoy the daytime sunshine or for enjoying a glass of wine and dining alfresco in the evenings. At the rear of the property, which can be accessed from the ground floor, you can also find a small courtyard area with seating.
