It also boasts riverside walks and a good range of shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. The countryside all around Letheringham offers many opportunities for walking, sightseeing and cycling, and the Suffolk Heritage Coast with its many fine beaches is just 16 miles away.

There is a small dining table for two in the living room and a compact kitchen. completing the cottage is a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a welcoming king-size bedroom.

Outside, large, landscaped gardens lead down to the riverbank. These gardens are a real feature of the homes and the two are linked together. Guests will find pretty trees and shrubs as well as an orchard and a beautiful bell tent perfect for picnics or games. We had a wonderful and very happy stay at the picturesque cottages. We enjoyed walking in the pretty garden that has a river at the bottom and is opposite beautiful farmland. The kind owners had taken care to provide all useful equipment, and more and thoughtfully included very detailed information concerning local places of interest, restaurants eRead moretc, which was a great help. The cottages are conveniently located near some pretty villages, with weekly markets, and are within easy access to some quaint and pretty coastal villages. Apart from being well equipped, the cottages are comfortable and nicely decorated. They have great outdoor spaces that can be enjoyed in the warmer UK weather. Hide
