The town of Holt itself is flooded with great places to grab a pastry and a great cup of locally roasted coffee. Holt Country Park (1 mile) is on the southern edge of the town and is great for a walk. You can catch the North Norfolk Railway steam train from the station in Holt (1 mile) which provides gorgeous countryside views to Sheringham (6.5 miles), where you can enjoy a beach stroll, or catch the market on Saturdays year-round and Wednesdays between April-November. Weybourne (4 miles), Salthouse (4 miles) and Cromer (10 miles) all have beaches that are easily accessible from the cottage.

Here, you will also find an abundance of books and maps on the local area and games for your use. Set at the end of the cottage, you will find the warm and spacious sitting room with comfortable Conran sofas, a Smart TV and a wood burner nestled into an original fireplace for warming your toes. On the first floor, you are greeted by three bedrooms: one king-size, one twin and one single. All have super comfortable traditional sprung mattresses (the main bedroom has a Hypnos mattress) and plenty of storage to unpack your things into. There is also a bright and modern shower room with beautiful original features.
At the front of the cottage, there is a patio area with outdoor seating including benches and an outside table and chairs, alongside a beautifully landscaped lawn.
