An attractive, semi-detached holiday home, this 18th-century Irish holiday home is ideal for a larger party of guests. Sleeping eight people, the three-bedroom cottage sits close to the border with County Clare, approximately 0.5 miles from the village of Tubber and 6 miles from lively Gort, with its interesting shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, as well as its golf course. The Burren National Park, which is known for its wild beauty and glacial-era limestone on its cliffs and in its caves, is 8.5 miles from the property and superb for anyone who enjoys hiking. The tower house of Fiddaun Castle, which dates back to the 16th century, is a 3-mile walk from the property, while the ruins of Kilmacduagh Monastery are 4 miles away.
Make your way inside to find accommodation with a warm welcome. The lounge/diner is a great place for playing games in front of a roaring wood burner and gathering for jolly holiday feasts. The kitchen/diner is also a good-sized space and is well fitted out so you have ample room to store and prepare your food during your stay. There is a small table in here where you can sit for a few quiet moments while the chef cooks dinner. A family shower room is also on the ground floor. Head upstairs to find two family bedrooms, each with a double and single bed, plus a twin bedroom. Another family shower room is also at this level. The laundry room is in a separate building.
Stroll out into the garden on sunny days alone or take the children out here to play on the grass.
