Fabulous cottage in an ideal position for exploring Holt and the surrounding area. Very well presented and spotlessly clean with all the equipment you could possibly need. Lots of towels and hot water. All the rooms are spacious and the beds very comfy. The parking is a huge bonus making loading and unloading particularly convenient. One of the beRead morest, if not the best, holiday cottage I have stayed in. Hide

A very lovely cottage in good location with on site parking. Rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the bedrooms had plenty of storage space. We loved the free standing bath. Would definitely revisit as so much to do in this part of Norfolk

We really enjoyed our stay at 1 Carpenters Cottages. It was in a good location, with a lot of shops and places to eat nearby. The coast was a short drive away. There was a little noise from the road outside that could be heard in the main bedroom when the bins were being emptied very early in the morning, but as this was only on one day of the weekRead more, it wasn't really a problem. I was initially concerned the parking might be a little tight, but it was completely fine and there were no issues. The facilities were good and we very much appreciated having a bathroom on both floors of the cottage. We didn't use the actual bath upstairs though as it seemed a bit too deep to get into and out of without a bit of difficulty for me, as I have arthritis, but it still looked very good and I would have very much liked to have been able to use it! The shower on the ground floor was lovely though and very easy to use and spacious. We didn't need to use the washing machine or tumble drier but we welcomed the fact that they were there in case we did need them. We also really liked the kettle - to the point that we are now planning to get one the same for at home! Overall, we had a lovely week staying in the cottage and if we were to visit Norfolk again, we would certainly consider another stay there. Hide
