Nestled in the pretty village of Little Petherick, just outside Padstow, this beautiful Canadian-style log cabin provides the perfect blend of both countryside and coastline. For the keen hikers amongst you, walking trails lead from the lodge to Little Petherick Creek, a popular spot with nature lovers, and onto Padstow (3.5 miles), where you will also be able to hop on the well-renowned South West coastal path. Padstow is the endpoint for the Camel Cycle Trail and a phenomenal base to enjoy the sandy beaches up and down the coastline. The town is also well renowned for its fine selection of shops and eateries, in particular the restaurants which include a very popular seafood restaurant. Across the water, you will find Rock and Polzeath, both under 12 miles away, with golden sands and turquoise waters, along with many more local amenities.
Making your way up the wooden external stairway and into the lodge you will find yourself in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This fabulously sociable living space boasts a floor-to-ceiling wooden interior beautifully put together to create a warm stylish atmosphere. Here there is a range of comfortable seating provided to sit back and relax in front of the electric coal effect fire and watch your favourite movies on the Smart TV. The well-appointed kitchen provides all appliances needed to cook up a lovely meal and enjoy together around the dining table. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, a twin and a king-size along with a fabulous family bathroom. Heading up the stairway you will find a mezzanine-style snug that indulges guests with a balcony from which to enjoy the stunning countryside views, the perfect space to relax and read a book perhaps. Off from here is the master king-size bedroom with an accompanying balcony and en suite shower room.
There are multiple outdoor seating options, to the rear of the home is a three-tiered garden with comfortable seating whilst there is also an outside dining space to the front, perfect for a spot of alfresco dining.
