Set in a beautiful conservation area, the peaceful village of Sedgeford has a friendly pub within 0.25 miles and from the village outskirts, keen walkers can hike the ancient Peddars Way to the sea and coastal path. Less than 4 miles away you’ll find the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton, with its shops, glorious golden beach, and promenade. The village of Heacham (3 miles) is home to the renowned Norfolk Lavender where you can drink in the sight and aroma of more than 50 varieties grown in the magnificent gardens. Or why not visit the boutique shops of Drove Orchards (5 miles) or the famous historic houses of Houghton Hall (10 miles) and the King’s retreat at Sandringham (6 miles)?
On entering The Nook, you will walk into a well-equipped kitchenette with KitchenAid appliances and a mini oven/air fryer, you will have everything you need to prepare any meal. A Grind coffee machine is at your disposal with compostable pods. Walk through to the lounge, once you have ducked under the beam, where you will be greeted with a very comfortable sofa positioned purposely in front of the Wood burner - perfect for those snuggling up times, with additional 100% wool blankets provided for those even cosier nights. There are plenty of lamps around the lounge to create that cosy atmosphere that somewhere like The Nook demands and there are brighter ceiling lights that also set off gorgeous shapes around the different rooms adding extra ambience. The shower room is downstairs, and the owners have supplied luxurious Christy towels, eco-friendly vegan toiletries and Bumboo toilet paper ensuring this property is as eco-friendly as it can be. The wallpaper in the shower room is from the 1950s, a vintage find made of Japanese Bamboo which is stunning. Heading upstairs to the large airy bedroom with double aspect windows, there are wonderful original floorboards adding character to this spacious room not to mention the antique brass double bed and many other quirky features which will make your stay in this wonderful cottage a memorable one.
Outside you have a small patio area next to the front door perfect for breakfast on those sunny days. A quick hop, skip and a jump over to your enclosed, gated garden area which has garden furniture for those who will enjoy evening drinks or dining al-fresco.
