This cosy barn has been lovingly restored, providing an ideal base from which to explore the whole of North Devon. The detached barn is set in a pretty spot on the outskirts of Langtree. Take a long walk or cycle on the nearby Tarka Trail which can be joined just 3 miles away. The North Devon coast is within easy reach; explore the long stretches of golden sand at Westward Ho! (11 miles), Croyde Bay (25 miles), Saunton (24 miles), and Woolacombe (27 miles). For a slice of local history, head to Great Torrington (4 miles) and learn about its connections to the English Civil War. Other places of interest include the traditional fishing village of Clovelly (15 miles), or family theme parks such as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way both 12 miles.

Entering the barn into the open-plan lounge/diner, the high ceiling, cob walls and exposed beams make for a spacious feel. The lounge/diner has a comfortable sofa, a warming wood burner, and a Smart TV, so you can look forward to cosying up and watching your favourite film. In the warmer months, open up the French doors leading out to the garden to let the outside in. The compact kitchen has everything you need to prepare tasty meals to enjoy together at the dining table. When it's time to turn in for the night, find two pretty bedrooms: one double, and one twin room with a double and a single bed. The bathroom completes the accommodation, offering the choice of soaking in the bath surrounded by bubbles or a shower to start the day afresh.

Heading outside, there is access to your own patio and lawn area, with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ for dining alfresco in the warmer months.

Pratts Barn is an idyllic countryside cottage. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The peace and quiet away from our busy city life was wonderful. A lovely forest walk nearby and plenty of amazing beaches to visit in the surrounding area. We enjoyed our stay in Pratts Barn. The living area and bedrooms are fabulous and very comfortable. The kitchen, whilst not the biggest, has everything that you need. The bathroom was basic but had everything you need. There was a very useful 'booster' facility which produced very hot water quickly which was great!
