Nestled on a traditional Cornish working sheep farm in the heart of the Cornwall countryside, this wonderfully renovated home provides the perfect blend of countryside and coast. Enjoy the crackle of twigs beneath your feet with picture postcard walking routes on your doorstep, or take the 5-mile drive to Padstow where you can hop on the rugged South West coast path. There are also plenty of walks from the property on the quiet country lanes or access to the Saints Way Footpath (0.5 mile). Or take a short walk to the local pub, The Halfway House within a mile. Padstow itself is infamous for its lovely array of local shops, cafes and restaurants. For outdoor enthusiasts, Padstow is the endpoint for the Camel Cycle Trail and close-by to sandy beaches up and down the coastline. Like Padstow, Wadebridge can also be reached within 5 miles. Across the water, you will find Rock and Polzeath, both under 11 miles away from the cottage. Other attractions in the area include many National Trust properties such as Lanhydrock (14.5 miles) or Trerice (13 miles), Camel Creek Adventure Park (1 mile) and The Eden Project, all within 12 miles and well worth a visit.

Stepping into the home you immediately have an ideal porch space, perfect to flick off those walking boots and hang wet coats after a day of exploring the Cornish coastline. Further on through will then take you to the open hallway with entrances to each of the downstairs living spaces, the lounge/diner will likely be first on the hit list, providing a comfortable corner sofa allowing you to immediately relax in front of the wood burner effect electric fire and Smart TV. Making your way back through to the beautifully appointed kitchen, guests will find they have everything they need for a stress-free stay, whilst the family bathroom completes the downstairs, perfect for soaking in a bath full of bubbles after a busy day. Heading upstairs is where you will find the two bedrooms, the master bedroom holds a king-size bed whereas the second bedroom handily offers twin single beds. The master bedroom also contains an en suite WC.

This lovely home offers a spacious enclosed garden with lawn, comfortable outdoor seating, and a charcoal BBQ, allowing you to dine alfresco and enjoy those melting sunsets over the rolling countryside views.

The property is set in an idyllic location and is of a modern and high quality finish. Set away from any hustle, yet close to both Padstow and Wadebridge for amenities and days out. Both owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming; some of the most pleasant hosts we have come across. A lovely quaint cottage for a Cornwall getaway.
