This beautifully furnished property situated in the tranquil village of Thurne is the ideal spot for a relaxing retreat near the Norfolk Broads. Home to the iconic draining mill, Thurne is a pretty conservation village set within the Broads National Park. As well as this, Thurne has a number of local footpaths offering great walks within the area including The Weavers Way. The sandy beaches of Winterton-On-Sea are also just 9 miles away and is ideal for a day of fun at the beach. If you are looking for a day of exploring on the Norfolk Broads, there is also a number of location boat hire companies locally.

As you walk from the private parking area round to the front door of this lovely home, as soon as you step in you are immediately welcomed by a warm and homely atmosphere as you head into the living room of the property. This is the perfect space for kicking your feet up and relaxing in front of the property's open fireplace. Stepping from here through to the kitchen and dining area which is a lovely space for socialising whilst cooking up a storm in the property’s modern kitchen. At the end of the kitchen is access to the ground floor bedroom with king sized bed and beautifully finished en-suite wet room with walk in shower and separate free standing bath. Upstairs there are two cosy and comfortable bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other a twin room. There is also an additional shower room on this floor.

Heading back outside next to private parking area is a lovely lawned garden with patio area and garden furniture, a truly lovely space to sit and enjoy the last of the days sunshine or for dining alfresco as the garden can be accessed directly from the kitchen.

A well equipped well planned and thought out cottage in an ideal location for both the Broads and the coast within a lovely village. Dog friendly and secure garden so great to take your pup. 10 out of 10 for us

Beautifully refurbed, well appointed property. Excellent location with great walks right from the property. Handy pub doing great food a two minute walk away. So peaceful and relaxing and a great location for exploring the Broads.

2 Thurnside is a lovely comfortable, well equipped cottage. Very comfy beds and beautiful thick soft towels. Kitchen very well equipped and there was plenty of hot water. Lounge area relaxing and both bathrooms very modern. The location is perfect for the local pub serving excellent food. The 5% discount during our stay was much appreciated.

The cottage was wonderful everything had been thought of and was a very high standard only complaint should have stayed longer.Everyone was friendly and food in the Lion pub was excellent and reasonably priced Would recommend to family and friends

Very comfortable well located cottage in a lovely peaceful village with a welcoming pub and small shop on the doorstep. Dog walks from the door.
