A lovingly furnished, listed cottage with a charming thatched roof and in a wonderfully central location in the seaside town of Seaton. Local amenities include shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs, all on your doorstep. It’s set less than 200 metres from the esplanade next to the mile-long Seaton Beach, great for swimming, surfing or a paddle. Situated along the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, there is lots of outdoor exploring to be done including rambling along the scenic South West Coast Path. The Wetlands Nature Reserve is 1 mile away and further afield you’ll find other exciting seaside destinations including Lyme Regis (8 miles) and Sidmouth (10 miles).
Entering the cottage, you’re welcomed on your left by the first sitting room area, with beautiful, exposed beams and cosy sofas. Down the hallway is a spacious kitchen/diner, with a large dining table for guests and a small breakfast bar area. The kitchen is well equipped and provides a beautiful family bolthole with comfy sofa seating in the corner. Moving upstairs to your left is a twin bedroom, and down the hall is a master king-size bedroom with a vanity mirror. A second lounge area is situated upstairs with a Smart TV and balcony area great for enjoying the summer evenings with a glass of your favourite drink. Further down the hall is the family bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath, and adjacent to the landing there’s plenty of storage space including clothes hanging area for all bedrooms if required. The final two bedrooms completing the cottage are a children’s bunk bedroom and another king-size bedroom.WIFI is available at the cottage.
Outside to the rear is a balcony overlooking the garden, which is a beautiful, enclosed, two-tiered space with a lawn and patio.
