Spend your days on Kessingland’s wide, sand and shingle beach, a picturesque setting backed by beachfront cafes, low cliffs and the Suffolk Coast Path – this beach is also popular for water sports, in particular windsurfing. Benacre Nature Reserve sits at the southern end of the beach, while animal enthusiasts will also love a trip to Kessingland’s family-friendly attraction, Africa Alive Zoological Reserve. Lowestoft is 6 miles north and boasts quaint shops and eateries, a theatre, and a couple of wonderful beaches – and it is right on the edge of the Norfolk Broads Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for canal boat trips. Southwold, 9 miles south, is home to a traditional pier, lighthouse and model boat pond, and is a great spot for fish and chips.
Situated on the Castaways Complex, this lovely single storey holiday home is the ideal coastal escape for a couple or small family. You are welcomed into an open plan living, kitchen and dining area which is fully equipped with all your holiday essentials and a great place to be together. There is a smart TV with access to streaming services and a roaring wood burner to enjoy during the chillier months. The accommodation comprises of a double bedroom and single bedroom with use of a shared family bathroom.
Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard to the front of the lodge with bistro set and deck chairs to bask in the Suffolk sun. There is also a shared green for all lodges to use and is just a stone's throw from the beach.
