Kessingland is a charming village on the Suffolk coast, with a long, unspoilt beach that’s ideal for fun-filled family holidays. Four-legged friends are welcome on the beach all year round. There is plenty to do in the immediate area – take a stroll north to Pakefield (3 miles) or visit Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, a conservation hub run by the Zoological Society of East Anglia (1.5 miles). Just 9 miles away lies the traditional seaside resort of Southwold, renowned for its pier, sandy beach, beach huts and lighthouse. If you’re a fan of water sports, head to Oulton Broad, 5 miles inland, while Lowestoft offers plenty of interest for those keen to learn more about renewable energy and maritime history. The natural world in all its splendour is on your doorstep; as well as the fabulous beach, further afield are Dunwich Heath nature reserve and RSPB Minsmere, both within 20 miles.
This lodge is the perfect place for a couple looking for a romantic retreat by the sea and comes with your very own hot tub to rest and relax in. The living and dining room is a cosy space to watch a movie on the smart TV, curl up by the sofa with a good book or watch the world go by from the panoramic large window. The galley kitchen has all you could need during your stay but if you fancy a night off cooking, there are some great pubs nearby serving food. The accommodation boasts a double bedroom and single bedroom with shared use of the family bathroom.
Outside is the cherry on top for this holiday home. Treat yourself to a soak in your private hot tub under the stars or enjoy a spot of al fresco dining on the BBQ. The garden is enclosed too, so ideal for pet friendly holidays.
