Charm and character are in abundance with plenty of colourful timber-framed homes lining the narrow streets, all leading to the pretty market square which has a greengrocer, vintage tearoom, a great pub, and the incredible Guildhall which is cared for by the National Trust. There is plenty to do and see in Lavenham, but a little further afield (12 miles) is the jewel in Suffolk’s crown; Bury St Edmunds, with its wonderful array of shops, fantastic restaurants, Abbey gardens and beautiful Cathedral to explore. In neighbouring Wool Town of Long Melford, which is just 5 miles away, sits Kentwell Hall and Melford Hall. Both are key attractions to this gorgeous countryside location and must visit during your stay.
