This characterful semi-detached, brick and flint building offers a family or group of friends a truly superb holiday home between the peaceful village of Roughton and the popular resort of Cromer. Sitting on a small complex of holiday cottages that share an indoor heated pool and outdoor children’s play area, there really is something for everyone and no way better way to spend your holidays. Pop to Cromer (2 miles) for traditional seaside fun, with its pier, lovely sandy beach and fabulous food options – don’t forget to try the famed Cromer crab! Train lovers will love the heritage steam railway joining the Georgian town of Holt (11 miles) with the seaside resort of Sheringham (6 miles). And if you enjoy historic houses, the National Trust properties of Felbrigg Hall (just under 1 mile) and Blickling Hall (8 miles) are nearby.

 

This characterful converted barn offers a family or group of friends a wonderful home away from home, with such care and attention to detail throughout ensuring you have the most memorable of stays. Cosy up on the corner sofa whilst you relax and unwind, perhaps with your favourite box set on your preferred streaming service via the Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen has all you’ll need to prepare anything from a light snack to a hearty evening meal, and when it’s time to serve up, the dining table comfortably seats up to eight guests and is fitting for any special occasion. Down the hallway are a spacious king-size bedroom and family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Upstairs leads to a further three bedrooms, one king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower and WC, and then two twin rooms share a walk-in shower room with WC. The property has access to a communal utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer that guests can use.

 

Outside, you have an enclosed garden area with a patio complete with garden furniture, so you can make the most of summer evenings, dining alfresco. On-site shared facilities include an indoor swimming pool which is heated all year around and a children’s play area.

The Barn was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The pool was superb and the location was excellent with a number of beaches within a short drive. Cromer offers a good variety of shops from a supermarket to local butchers and bakery. Sheringham is worth a visit for the number of ice cream shops alone. We had a lovely holiday. The pool was very good, we used it daily. There was lots to do in the area, a lovely location. We are considering going back next year, still lots we haven't done. The cottage was very comfortable.

The location was ideal as it allowed us choice of many places to go to within half an hours drive max
