The Victorian seaside town of Ilfracombe is only 1.5 miles away and from here you can take fishing trips and boat trips along the stunning coastline and see the local sea life, including seals, or head over to Lundy Island onboard the MS Oldenburg. Venture a bit further (12 miles) to the magical Exmoor National Park with its moorlands and woodland walks and abundance of wildlife and Exmoor ponies.
