In an elevated position with stunning views from your enclosed terrace, this apartment is a fantastic choice for couples and small families. St Ives is blessed with four superb sandy beaches of varying character from surfer spots to sheltered family-friendly coves, plus a picturesque harbour. It’s a popular spot for walkers with the South West Coast Path stretching either side of town and it is much loved by nature enthusiasts with boat trips to a local seal colony and an RSPB reserve at the Hayle Estuary (5 miles) to the east of Carbis Bay. We loved the stunning position of this property with wonderful views over St Ives harbour and the sea, yet so close to the centre and its wide range of cafes, bars, traditional pubs, restaurants and independant shops. The apartment is just right for 2 people. Loved the terrace with table and chairs to enjoy the sea views and the patio windows afforRead moreding the same view from inside on colder days. Well equipped kitchen. Sizeable shower with good power and heat. Spotlessly clean. Access is tricky if you are less than very physically fit and the parking space is up a very steep set of steps followed by a very steep hill. Hide

Apartment and facilities good. Unfortunately difficult to find due to lack of signage.The property is up an extremely steep hill and the car parking some way away up an even steeper route, consequently we do not feel it is suitable for older people.

The flat is in an excellent location but it is up a steep hill and 8 steep steps so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. You are within a 5 minute walk of Porthminster beach and all the shops and restaurants. It has a fantastic shower, the other amenities are nice enough but unremarkable. There is a parking space a 10 minute walk away buRead moret u can unload near the flat then go and park. The flat does have a view of the harbour. The oven in the kitchen needs instructions, through cleaning it is anyones guess what the buttons do as most of the functions have worn away. We couldnt get the oven to work, we only wanted to heat croissants so it didnt matter too much but if u planned to cook it would be annoying. Hide

Had a lovely stay at this apartment. It has everything you need for a relaxing break. Ideally located for St Ives town centre but not really suitable if you have mobility issues.
