The Old Granary is spacious (huge kitchen) and really nicely furnished. Whilst it is not far off the main road and less than 10 minutes walk to the supermarket, it is a peaceful spot next to the Broads Museum. The icing on the cake for us was the access to the water. There were three of us, and with our paddleboard plus the kayak at the property weRead more spent hours on the Broads - fantastic. We made several trips to the beach at Horsey Gap (take a walk down the footpath to get to the spot where the seals rest at low tide) - the Dunes Cafe at Waxham is a lovely place. It is still an easy drive to get up to Cromer. We've been to many holiday lets in Norfolk and this one is not in the area we would probably normally choose, but I would definitely go back because it was good value for the standard of the property, quiet location, and the access the Broads is a winner. This is a lovely, old property, full of character. The views over the water are stunning, and the kayak is a fabulous way to explore. A great fusion of old original building and modern facilities, we loved it.
