This beautiful boutique retreat for two is stylishly designed, offering elegant interiors and gorgeous views. The picturesque fishing port of Looe, with its long sandy beach, has changed very little over the years and is less than a half-mile walk down the hill. The town has so much to offer, with a great mix of bistros, pubs, restaurants and independent stores. Enjoy one of the many boat trips, from fishing to leisurely glass-bottom rides out to Looe Island. Less than 5 miles away is the village of Polperro with a picture-postcard harbour and colourful narrow streets.

This cottage is accessed via a small, shared front porch. Head into a welcoming lounge with a wood burner, the perfect spot to snuggle up on the comfy sofas and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. The dining table and chairs make for a great place to have coffee or lunch. Moving through to the kitchen, you’ll find all you need to pack up a good lunch or make breakfast. Ascend the traditional cottage-style staircase, where the shower room and a double bedroom are located – beautifully decorated, you’re sure to get a good night’s sleep here.

Outside and to the rear is a large seating area laid to gravel with garden furniture and comfy rattan furniture, so you can relax with a good book or glass of wine on sunny days. There is also a fabulous seating area to the front with a sea view, which is perfect for your morning coffee.

Excellent cottage with everything amenity you will need, decorated to a high standard just a shame about the hill but at least it kept us fit during our stay. 6

Small comfortable cottage, up steep hill, near to Looe harbour area. Obviously spent time, effort and money on making the small cottage welcoming for visitors. Car parking is expensive in town, use Millpool car park 15 for the week
