Foodies will be further delighted with the Wensleydale Creamery and Raydale Preserves visitor centres and Hawes also hosts a street market on Tuesdays, For walkers, Hawes’ National Park Visitor Centre offers information on local must-see natural attractions such as the Semer Water and Aysgarth Falls – a favourite of Wordsworth and Turner – and the countless beautiful routes through the Dales. Drive east and less than 9 miles from your doorstep is Aysgarth, perhaps best-known for its three-stepped Falls; you might not want rain while you’re on holiday, but it’s after a heavy shower that this natural delight is at its most dramatic!

This comfortable room enjoys plenty of natural light and comfy sofas that have a wood burner to warm you on chilly evenings whilst watching your favourite program on the TV. Continue into the kitchen which comes fully equipped for home-cooked meals, enjoy breakfast at the breakfast bar, or gather around the table in the dining room, here you’ll find a spacious dining table that invites you to sit down and raise a glass together. Upstairs, you’ll find two well-proportioned bedrooms, a king-size room where you can enjoy the views out your window or open the byre door and have a quiet moment on the chair at the top of the stairs admiring the views. The second room is a twin room. Take a refreshing shower in the morning in the shower room before heading out for your dales walk.
