Cottage was very clean. Little bit out of the way especially in the evening. But I guess that's a personal choice. The Canon pub was good for a meal and friendly staff.

Comfortable and very clean property. Good location for seeing east Devon and west Dorset towards Bridport and Lyme Regis. Various elements of equipment were tired and needed replacing. Externally the property does not have kerb appeal but inside is good (barring some of the equipment).

The cottage is a lovely space and very conveniently located. Very clean throughout. A little disappointed by the kitchen utensils available and the hot water being quite weak but the company have passed these recommendations on to the owner to be fixed.

Good location for exploring south Devon. The property was very clean, warm and comfortable. The outside space was disappointing.

Comfortable and parking right outside. Pub just down the way. No garden but that was not a problem for us.

Disappointed by this cottage. Great location for exploring East Devon but unfortunately the cottage itself needs a fair bit of TLC. All the kitchen equipment was very cheap and didnt work well. Freezer box broken. Lots of bulbs blown or missing. Had an issuing with the lounge lights blowing. Thankfully the company did come and sort it promptly.

Arrived at 4pm as stated but unable to gain access to property as key code did not work. Contacted the number given for emergencies, who were useless and did nothing to resolve the issue. 2 hours later, still waiting for someone to sort it out, nothing. A local tried and the code was definitely not working. They eventually helped to get access. No Read moresupport from company at all, so would not bother booking through this company. Will not use again Hide

Really lovely cottage and very comfortable. Ate out every day except for a takeaway from the village Chinese which was very good. Visited Sidmouth, Beer, Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth and found good places for food in all of them. We have friends who want to visit this area and we have advised them to book Swallowfield Cottage.
