This beautiful bungalow is located in the tranquil village of Galmpton, just outside of Paignton and Brixham. Perfectly placed to enjoy many days out with a variety of attractions nearby, take the 3-mile trip to Brixham and be welcomed by the colourful fishermen’s cottages, as well as a variety of shops, restaurants, water sports activities and beaches. Catch a ferry across the bay and explore the English Riviera including Paignton (3 miles) and Torquay (6 miles), with attractions such as Paignton Zoo and Splashdown Quaywest. A similar distance is Dartmouth (6 miles) – catch the car and passenger ferry to visit the popular town resort, beautiful castle and nearby beaches and coves.

In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many events and festivals in the area like the Brixham Pirate Festival, England's Seafood Feast, Lanterns lights & 'luminations, Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show, Teignmouth Air show, Devon County Show.

Moving into the rear part of the bungalow, you’re welcomed into the kitchen/diner space; a central dining table area for enjoying meals and a well-equipped kitchen. To the rear of the dining area is a conservatory with a second seating space and access to the garden. Through the kitchen, there is also a utility space with a washing machine and a convenient WC, with further access to the outside.

Outside to the front of the property is a gravelled space for parking, and to the rear of the bungalow is a fully enclosed garden with a beautiful seating area on the raised deck. The garden continues around the side of the bungalow and offers a lawned area perfect for your four-legged friends to stretch their legs.

The cottage was very nice better than the pics we thought ..location was perfect a couple of Miles inside Paignton and Brixham and within an easy walk of mosts like Broadsand cove,the chippy and a couple of pubs if you just wanted to walk anywhere...Gimbals was in a nice cul de sac ..garden was good for the dog plenty of room for them to play ..wilRead morel definitely use them again Hide

The cottage was situated in a quiet cul-de-sac but within easy walking distance to the local shops and pub. It was also easy to walk to the bus stop to travel to Paignton or Brixham if you did not want to use your car.

This cottage/bungalow is exceptional. It is extremely well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils. The fully enclosed garden was perfect for the dog. Location was great within easy walking distance for the bus routes to Brixham, Paignton and Torquay and also to the local pub The Manor Inn. It is like a home from home and would definitely like Read moreto visit again. Hide

The Gimbals is exactly as described on the website, a beautiful property in a perfect location, conveniently situated for Paignton, Torquay, Brixham and Dartmouth, a private garden not over looked and secure for dogs, when youre in the garden you can hear the steam train which is very quaint, Plenty of off road parking for the property, we liked iRead moret that much we are looking at dates for next year.
