The award-winning beach of Woolacombe is just half a mile away with 3 miles of beautiful golden sands on offer. Known to be a mecca for surfers and other water sports enthusiasts, this coastal village has delightful dunes to picnic on, making this a holiday destination for making happy memories. Stroll around the plethora of independent shops, pubs and restaurants, or just enjoy a traditional fish and chip supper on one of the benches while watching the magnificent sunsets. Enjoy exploring the South West Coast Path which is on your doorstep; you can marvel at the spectacular views or try spotting the seals along the coastline. Other attractions and places of interest include Exmoor National Park (13 miles), National Trust’s Arlington Court (14 miles), the quaint coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth (21 miles), or you could enjoy a day with the animals at Combe Martin Wildlife Park (12 miles).

Continuing along the upper landing you will access the large spacious kitchen/diner with magnificent, vaulted ceiling and double-glazed patio doors which overlook the National Trust land to the rear of the property. The kitchen is well equipped for entertaining and well-appointed with stylish furniture allowing you to relax whilst entertaining. For those cooler evenings, there is underfloor heating and a wood burner to snuggle in front of. The kitchen/diner sits as a mezzanine with a glass balustrade looking down onto the lounge, making this property very much open-plan living! With a south-west aspect, the lounge boasts fantastic views over the hills, dunes and the beach, and also benefits from a Smart TV and comfy sofas. The charming family bathroom has underfloor heating and houses a stylish bathroom suite, including a comfortable bath with a shower over.

Heading outside, there is a patio area to the front of the property and a large private tiered garden at the rear with seating and BBQ offering the perfect spot for al fresco dining.

Internally the property was excellent however the external garden area was disappointing with tired furniture, poorly maintained equipment and untidy areas which was unexpected at a property rated 5 star. Having said this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Falbala as it catered for our needs as the equipment and facilities provided were adequate to Read moresatisfy our needs. Hide

Brilliant location, amazing views (when not misty), not far to walk to the shops although uphill on the way home. Good exercise after eating pasties on the beach! Very comfortable for 6 adults and a child with lots of indoor and outdoor space. Owners responded very quickly to a question we had. Unfortunately they no longer accept dogs or we would bRead moree keen to return. Hide

This property has everything that you need for your stay. Kitchen is fully equipped and the welcome pack provided was a thoughtful gift. The open plan of the rooms made it very sociable for our group and you never tire of the views of Woolacombe. Close to a fabulous beach and some super costal walks..we were lucky to spot seals! We also enjoyed sitRead moreting in the kitchen area watching the birds on the feeder and the sheep in the back garden. We had a super time at Falbala and we will definitely consider rebooking again. This is a fabulous property with loads of open plan space and breath taking views over Woolacombe Bay. It was immaculately clean and very well equipped. We loved it and the area is beautiful. I dont think youd find a nicer property. Thank you for the welcome pack which was very kind of you.

Falbala is a fantastic location, close enough to walk to the beach and far enough up the hill to get some amazing views too. Would highly recommend it.
