Nestled in St Brides Bay off the coast of West Wales, Broad Haven enjoys a large expanse of golden sand that is popular with visitors and locals alike. There's a good choice of cafes, restaurants, and shops plus a seafront pub. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is easily accessed from here, with walks North to Newgale (10 miles) or South to Martin's Haven (11 miles). Britain's smallest city, St Davids, can be reached in under 15 miles where there is an excellent selection of shops, cafes and galleries – a visit to the cathedral is a must. For nature lovers, an excursion to Skomer Island via Martin's Haven (9.5 miles) is a delight; during certain months you can see huge colonies of the famous Pembrokeshire puffin.
