Overlooking the river in the picture-postcard Cornish fishing town of Looe, this wonderful apartment is only a short walk (300 metres) to the main sandy beach. Stroll down and sample the wonderful array of cafes, pubs and restaurants, or pick up a souvenir in one of the local gift shops. Enjoy one of the many boat trips which include fishing expeditions and leisurely glass-bottom boat rides out to the glorious nature reserve on Looe Island. If you are looking for a day out, why not visit Adrenalin Quarry only 7 miles away, with its go-karting and zip wires? Or visit the famous Eden Project where you are sure to find something for the whole family (20 miles). The coastal path offers some fabulous walks where there are many beautiful stretches of beach for you to enjoy.

Step inside this period property and you will immediately find yourself in the fantastically light lounge/kitchen/dining room with plenty of natural light courtesy of the French doors. Here, a comfortable sofa sits in front of a Smart TV and provides the perfect place to relax in the evening. The fantastic breakfast bar is the ideal spot for a leisurely breakfast before heading out for the day. Modern and fully equipped, the perfectly appointed kitchen is ideal for packing up a good lunch or preparing an evening meal. Lovely holiday. The accommodation was very clean and had just about everything you need. The view from the decking area was stunning but the climb up the hill was a challenge. We had a wonderful time and would come back again.

Really lovely cottage in Looe, close to the centre but quite a steep hill back up! We found everything we needed in the kitchen, the bathroom was lovely and the bed was comfy. Could have done with a hoover/dustpan and brush, otherwise we had a brilliant week!

We had a great stay as a family of 4. The accommodation was tidy and clean, the beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. It also comes with a wonderful view of the harbour. The walk to town was lovely and quick with a great selection of restaurants and the beach close by. Would recommend the rock pools at Hannafore beach for a day trip, easRead morey to walk to from the accommodation. Hide

We enjoyed a one week stay in Manor cottage which we found comfortable but not homely. It is quite compact but as there was only two of us that worked quite well, it could be tight for a family of four. Although this is a personal thing, we found the mattress to be too soft for us. The patio and decking areas should be a pleasant place to sit bRead moreut the seating lacked cushions making it uncomfortable and the furniture was in great need of refurbishing or replacing. Its in a good location for the town centre which is only a few minutes walk away. However the walk back up the hill is testing. There was no information left in the flat relating to local facilities such as restaurants etc. Weve stayed in many holiday cottages and this was unusual. Probably our fault for not paying attention to the description of available equipment, but we were surprised that there was no washing machine, especially as there was a clothes rack, ironing board and iron supplied. This apartment is lovely, fully equipped, clean. Rooms are light and airy, bedding was good and comfy. Lots of mirrors and plug sockets, makes a real change to be able to plug a hairdryer in and be able use a mirror at the same time, quite often the mirror is nowhere near a plug socket. Hairdryer also provided. Location is great lots of nice placesRead more to eat, we recommend The Harbour Moon which is directly opposite you can see it from the terrace. Nice view over the village. We really enjoyed the position, overlooking the harbour with good access to Looe centre. A very clean, comfortable and convenient self catering apartment with good facilities for cooking etc.

Short walk into town but access road very narrow and made worse by builders vans parked up everywhere

The apartment was spotless and in a brilliant location for us, just a quick trip down the hill into town. I would advise anyone who struggles with hills that it is a very steep climb back up so thats something to bear in mind. Parking was no problem as there were plenty of spaces but the drive down Barbican Hill was a bit hairy at times due to the Read morenumber of parked cars along the road. The apartment has easy access to the SW coastal path and we did some wonderful walks (recommend the sanctuary). All in all a great base and itll definitely keep you fit - we averaged 20,000 steps a days whilst we we there! Hide

The flat was clean and comfortable, the location excellent. There is a somewhat limited view from the living/dining room over the harbour, which is lovely. From in front of the flat, the view is magnificent. We had everything we needed, and service was excellent (when the range hood light went out, it was almost immediately fixed by the manager!).
