The barns were lovely and well equipped, the whole family enjoyed their stay. The games barn proved to be a great success with the grandchildren, especially during the bad weather from "storm Darragh"! On arrival the Barns were wonderfully bright, warm and clean. Plenty of communal space for large party of people. The owners had decorated with lovely Xmas decs and Xmas tree, so was really welcoming. They had also made a beautiful Victoria sponge cake for each barn which went down lovely with a brew on arrival. Log burners were just what was neeRead moreded for the chilly nights. Logs were readily available. The underfloor heating was a little difficult to control (which is normal) for this kind of heating. En suites were a bonus for every room. Kids loved the games room (when I say kids , I mean grown men too) especially the shuffle board. The kitchen was so well equipped with modern fully functional appliances. Dont think there was anything we needed that was not there. Small details like binoculars for looking at the wildlife, information leaflets for local area and food outlets were fab. WiFi was good. Would love to return and make use of the wonderful outside BBQ area over looking your own personal duck pond and surrounding countryside and wildlife. Please make use of the contact they were great hosts and only too willing to help if needed (which it wasnt). They would be happy to arrange other services eg. Hot tubs, chefs, beauty treatments etc etc. you only need to ask. This is not clear on original cottages web site. Hide

We stayed in Muntjak and Roe Deer Barns. This was perfect for a large group as they are adjoining and set away from any other barn/buildings so no need to worry about noise. The space is light, airy and spacious. Some of the rooms have a beautiful view of the lake with lots of wildlife. Kitchen was really well equipped and everything was spotless. I can see that it would be perfect in the summer too for friends/families with lovely outdoor space, lots of games and BBQ area. We would definitely return! Highly recommend. Hide

I can't understate how great The Long Barns were and our experience in Norfolk. For context we hired three barns for a big Stag Do celebration. We are all a bit long in the tooth so it was more of a big party weekend. Finding the barns was a doddle, and check in was smooth sailing. The hosts were on hand when we needed them for local advice and infRead moreormation too! The barns were immaculate, credit to the cleaning and prep teams, you'd be hard pressed to find a spec of duct. Very comfy living areas and fully kitted out kitchens made catering for 30 easy. A nice well stocked log burner too, very nice touch. Very fun games room in the outdoors communal area, and a park for the youngsters, absolutely stunning surroundings with ponds full of ducks. We will be coming again next year, just need an excuse! Hide
