One of two beautifully converted farm barns on site, the perfect retreat for couples to enjoy the crackle of twigs beneath their feet on the scenic Devon and Cornwall trails. Take in the tea rooms, the 13th century Bush Inn and the historic church where Reverend Hawker made his home for over three decades and famously built Hawkers Hut from the timbers of wrecked ships, which is now the smallest National Trust building to be visited in England. The popular coastal town of Bude (5 miles away) is renowned for being one of North Cornwall’s top beach retreats. With its impressive array of golden sandy beaches and an abundance of local amenities including heritage centre and art gallery, surf schools, ten-pin bowling, and golf course. Further afield is the mythical Tintagel, famed for the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, along with other historic fishing villages including Boscastle and Clovelly which are within 25 miles.

Stepping inside this stunning escape you will first find yourself in a beautifully light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with underfloor heating, beautiful exposed stone walls and exposed beams overhead, really showcasing the blend of original and contemporary features within the home. This fabulously sociable room boasts a contemporary look with a cosy sofa and Smart TV allowing you to relax in style whilst watching your favourite films after a day of treks across the Cornwall coastline. The dining space provides the perfect venue for laid-back meals whilst the exceptionally appointed kitchen provides all the appliances needed and more for a stress-free stay. Moving on through the home you will find the bedroom which hosts a king-size bed, further Smart TV and ample clothing space, with an accompanying luxury fitted en suite bathroom, featuring a bath and separate waterfall shower to soak, refresh and renew after your adventures.

Heading outside to the rear of the home guests have their own enclosed paved patio area overlooking the rolling fields across the valley to Duckpool, a truly perfect spot to relax with your favourite tipple on one of the loungers and take in those Cornish sunsets with the smell of cooked meats on the BBQ. Jasmine cottage is the perfect holiday property. Set just off the A39 in Kilkhampton close to Bude on a farm ,it has everything for a perfectly relaxing holiday. Well equipped and very comfortable. Lucy the owner is very welcoming and helpful. The walk from the cottage to Duckpool on the coast is well worth the effort. Took about 45 minutes.

A beautiful cottage in a secluded location, perfect to give you some quality time alone, with the opportunity to explore Cornwall. The cottage was impeccably clean and well presented. The view from the bedroom, living room and enclosed patio was stunning. The owner, Lucy, greeted us on arrival and could be seen around the stables regularly, often Read moreoffering helpful advice and tips to help us make the most of our break. She had provided a number of additional things in the cottage to help us settle in, and had really paid attention to detail. We used the cottage as a base and used our car each day to travel to different locations to walk/ride our bikes. We made good use of the Tarka Trail and nearby Morwenstow (National Trust), had a lovely day out at Tintagel Castle (English Heritage), and took one rainy day to go a little bit further and visit the Eden Project and Padstow, including a meal at Rick Steins pub. It is very hilly around the cottage with thin narrow lanes suitable for 1 car mostly. The nearby village had a couple of pubs, a pizza shop and Chinese takeaway if you prefer not to cook but the cottage had everything to make your own meals. If you are going further out to eat, I would suggest booking. We struggled to get anywhere to eat in nearby Bude without booking. I would highly recommend this property. Hide
