A very well equipped, comfortable cottage in a delightful area. We enjoyed walking locally and visiting nearby sites, very relaxing. We hope to visit again.

The cottage should be nice, its in a nice enough quiet location. The village does not have a pub as advertised and you cannot walk to the beach from the cottage. The huge problem is the state of neglect that the cottage is in, it is seriously dirty, to the extent that we wanted to leave immediately (yes we did call out the cleaners again, which maRead morede it bearable - but still not clean at all). The bedding had not been changed since the last guests, dead flowers on the table, the oven is broken, kettle and toaster all dirty and need replacing, the cupboards are all stained, cobwebs everywhere with dead insects in them, the list goes on and on. I took photographs of all of this, this is the worst cottage I have ever stayed in and should be avoided. Hide

It is not near Chesil Beach. Not 400 metres unless you are an actual crow flying. It's a mile at least to the fleet. No beach and no access. However, nearest beautiful beach is 30mins away. Make the most of what is available. The pub is closed and has been for some time. Be mindful of what you are buying as the description is a misrepresentation.

Not the cottage but the company , who after 10 phone calls did nothing after promising that someone would come to sort out the problem of the smell in the cottage .
