Long Melford, a picturesque village in the Suffolk countryside offers a delightful blend of history, culture, and natural beauty for visitors to explore. Take a trip to Melford Hall, a grand Elizabethan mansion with beautiful gardens, and for history enthusiasts, Kentwell Hall is a must-see, known for its Tudor re-enactments and stunning gardens. Both magnificent places are just 0.3 miles from the property. The main high street which boasts antique shops, tea rooms, pubs and a handy convenience shop is within easy reach too. If you fancy an evening away from the kitchen, there is a restaurant just at the bottom of the garden. The nearby Gainsborough's House, once the home of renowned artist Thomas Gainsborough, showcases his works and provides insight into his life. Lavenham, a gorgeous medieval village boasting timber framed buildings, tiny lanes to wander through, great pubs and even a small spa is only 4.5 miles away.

Surprisingly roomy, this cottage for two is very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Its position in Long Melford is ideal for visiting the surrounding area and is within walking distance of several pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Lovely modern cottage with a garden - it was very comfortable and well equipped. The location is excellent for exploring Suffolk.

The property was of a very high standard. Equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay.
