This open-plan barn conversion in the heart of Cornwall is perfectly located for families or groups and their pups to enjoy the delights of the county around them. Surrounded by greenery, this peaceful retreat is only 11 miles from Cornwall’s North Coast and 11.5 miles from the South Coast, meaning guests are spoiled for Cornwall’s best beaches and seaside towns. And with the cathedral city of Truro just 8 miles away, you’re never far from a wonderful day out in Cornwall’s capital. The host village of Ladock (1 mile) offers a welcoming pub and community store, while nearby family attractions include The Lost Gardens of Heligan (9 miles), the popular seaside resort of Newquay (11.5 miles) and The Eden Project (14 miles).

With exposed wooden beams and large windows that let natural light flow in, this airy property is the perfect venue for a celebration with friends and loved ones. Enter into an open-plan living space, the social heart of the barn conversion. The island kitchen is well equipped with all you need to cook up a storm or prepare drinks on special occasions, this seamlessly transitions into the dining space in the centre of the room. Move through to the cosy lounge space, complete with comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and crackling wood burner. With views of the garden, the sunny nook to the side of the property is the perfect spot to unwind with your pooch snoozing at your feet. Make use of the separate wet room after returning from a long walk, and at the end of the night retire to the three delightful bedrooms. All boasting super-king-size beds that can be changed to singles to suit your needs, the bedrooms each offer en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms so guests can stay relaxed and refreshed.

Outside, guests can make use of the spacious lawn that slopes down from the property, the perfect space for little ones and pups to spend their energy in the sun. Enjoy alfresco meals on the paved terrace using the BBQ, or head to the second courtyard for a more sheltered spot with views of the surrounding countryside.

Excellent property, lots of space and facilities. Isolated location but that is what we wanted. Small problem with plumbing noise reported to owner and fixed in a timely manner.

Absolutely stunning property. Like home from home.. kitchen fully equipped and everything spotlessly clean. Beach towels provided and towels & biscuits for the dogs. Lovely large garden which our dogs loved and great woodland walk. Only thing I would say is that if your bringing dogs there are a lot of slugs in the garden .. wasnt an issue for mineRead more as they dont touch them . Beds were very comfortable and bed linen lovely quality. Great location for both north and south Cornwall.. Good range of large supermarkets about 10 mins drive and a couple of local small stores closer. Highly recommend. Hide

We have been renting property in Cornwall for over 25years. The Lodge is without doubt the best that we, as a family of six, have ever had the privilege to rent.

The cottage was fabulous, very spacious, very good facilities. We had a lovely week using this cottage as a base for our travels around Cornwall. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and got us a new bbq when we needed it.

Really lovely extended barn conversion. Easily 5 star accommodation. The location is central for all popular places on both coasts. Boot/utility room and fully enclosed garden is very useful for visitors with dogs as is the farm's woods.

A stunning retreat and brilliant layout with three big bedrooms, all with en-suites plus an extra bathroom. Loved the main living space and the kitchen was great. Location was amazing, extremely quiet after a busy day and time to relax in front of the TV with the log burner on. What a great area to be staying, Newquay, Watergate Bay, Truro, EdenRead more Project, St Austell Brewery and lots of beaches all within 20-25 minutes drive, long time Cornwall and North Devon holidayers and being more central in Cornwall was the best idea ever. Highly Recommended. We would stay here again without a second thought. Hide
