One of the benefits of staying here is the proximity to Staithes (1.5 mi) and North Yorkshire further afield, you will have dedicated parking for 2 vehicles (more can be arranged on request). We have our own bus stop on the main street, this service (X4) runs approximately every half an hour during the day and every hour in the evenings and operates between Middlesbrough and Whitby, taking in the costal towns of Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Staithes, and Runswick Bay and has been reviewed as one of the best UK bus journeys by the Guardian. If you are looking for a slower pace of life and to enjoy the great out doors the cottage is just off the Cleveland with over 100 miles of ever changing landscapes and scenery. For the cyclists the owners can provide a secure place to keep your cycles after a days cycling.
