Alternatively, head to Cley-next-the-Sea (9 miles) which offers fantastic bird watching at the nature reserve or Blakeney (8 miles) where you can hop on a boat to visit the seals. Wells-next-the-Sea (8 miles) with its picturesque harbour and fishing port is the perfect spot for crabbing and enjoying fish and chips on the quay. The sandy beach boasts colourful beach huts against a backdrop of pine woodland. Neighbouring Holkham Estate hosts numerous events throughout the year and has an adventure playground for the little ones.

The smaller garden at the front of the cottage catches the midday sun and is the perfect spot to enjoy a peaceful breakfast listening to the birdsong or spending lazy afternoons basking in the sunshine.
