This large, comfortable house sitting, surrounded by the pasture and wooded valleys of East Clare, is perfect for visiting Limerick, Clare, and Galway. It has lots of space for a getaway with a big group of friends or extended family, and a pretty garden to relax in. The 18th-century property is 2.5 miles from the market town of Tulla, where you can do your shopping, and 11 miles from the county town of Ennis. There are great fishing spots nearby, including pike fishing at Tulla Angling Centre, 3 miles from the town, and hiking trails, pretty lakes, and mountains to discover. The area is also known as a great place for hearing traditional music, and you’ll find live sessions at bars and pubs nearby.

Enter this delightful Georgian farmhouse via the spacious lounge/dining area in the conservatory and country kitchen, which features attractive wooden cupboards, stone flooring and original beams. Large picture windows in the conservatory provide the perfect backdrop for sociable meals. There’s a handy double bedroom on the ground floor with an en-suite shower room, as well as a utility room and a separate WC. Head up the spiral staircase to the lounge, which has a balcony overlooking the courtyard gardens, a TV, and a double sofa bed. There’s a further double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and two double or twin bedrooms on this floor; both have additional single foldaway bed. There’s also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath on this level.

Outside is a beautiful garden where you can all enjoy a BBQ and drinks on the patio, and you’re welcome to pick the seasonal organic produce in the courtyard gardens. It’s fully enclosed, handy for little ones and your four-legged companions.
