The St Ives School of artists began flocking here in the 1940s, for the wonderful light that you’ll soon discover for yourself. Ascend an exterior flight of granite steps and an internal flight of stairs to reach the apartment. Inside you’ll find a breezy marine feel, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner being perfect for bright breakfasts at the round table before your seaside adventures. Fantastic base, ideally suited for the centre of st ives and with beautiful views. There is considerable noise from the bar below which ends at around 12.30am, this didn't bother me as I sleep late but would be an issue for anyone who likes to go to bed early. Overall its a fabulous property simply for the location and stunning views

Lovely and clean flat with amazing views of the harbour. Be prepared for the horrendous music going on until 12pm from the Rum and Crab shack below.

Noisy. If you are a party person out all night then book here. Otherwise do not book. The flat is shabby and needs updating. Furniture uncomfortable. Mainly just ridiculous noise til early hours then starts again when pub below opens for cleaners at 7.

Be honest & say that there will be some form of loud music every night finishing anytime between midnight & 1.30am. At this time the alarms are set which also is noisy. Also during the evening from approximately 9.00pm patrons of the pub decide to congregate on the passageway smoking & drinking very loudly which is a few feet from the windows.Read more Put this honest situation in your details & see how many positive responses you receive. This is not a suitable place to stay. This flat is directly above a busy bar and the noise of the music is horrendous. We left after one night.

The noise was mentioned from below so was expected but not until almost 1.00am. Also you did not say in the particulars that patrons would congregate on the stairs & the passageway immediately below all three windows.

The property is small and quite basic, but in a fabulous position overlooking the harbour. The excellent Rum and Crab Shack is just downstairs and didn't cause any noise issues for me - just a faint background murmer at times.

The apartment needs a complete renovation, old uncomfortable furniture, wooden window frames with catches hanging off, rain comes in and draughty. Noise from bar below until 2.30 am at weekends, Odd en-suite as washbasin outside in corner of the bedroom. Wardrobe used for housing two vacuum cleaners, instead of being empty for use of guests. We would not stay here again and wished we had taken note of review on Tripadviser September 2020, things have not improved!! Hide

Superb location, nice tidy apartment. Was supposed to have a frying pan & coffee plunger, but didnt. Your office in town gave me a frying pan & promised to drop a plunger off next day, but didnt. Minor complaints that wouldnt put me off rebooking. However, if returning to St Ives I would look for somewhere with parking allocation as finding a long Read moreterm parking space was a nightmare Hide
