A little further afield you will find stunning lighthouses and windmills, the kind of buildings that make Norfolk so famous. The waterways of the Norfolk Broads are just outside your front door, however, a short drive away, you can access the Broads by a boat trip, including day boats, chartered tours, kayaks and canoes. For a day out on the beach, close by you have Sea Palling (4 miles) and Happisburgh (8.5 miles). For culture and a beautiful vibe, the city of Norwich (19.5 miles) is also within easy reach. With its array of shops, restaurants, and culture this fine city is sure to offer something for everyone.

As you drive up towards the property and park your car on the driveway, you have the chance to take in the truly spectacular view of the Norfolk Broads. With comfortable seating, an electric flame-effect fire, and a wonderful view, it is the perfect space to relax and unwind. Heading upstairs, you will find the four bedrooms. The master bedroom is a spacious double room. Facing the front of the property, you can look out across the Broads whilst enjoying a cup of tea from your bed. The second bedroom is a family bedroom housing both a double and single bed. At the other end of the landing are the two twin bedrooms with interconnecting doors – you must go through one bedroom to get to the other. Again, the second twin room faces the front of the property so another chance for guests to soak in that breathtaking view, plus it has an en-suite shower room. Upstairs, there is also the family bathroom and next door is a separate WC.

To the front of the property, there is a spacious, enclosed, lawned garden with garden furniture, perfect for al fresco dining and enjoying the sun setting over the Broads. Superb location and views. The generally low doorways and the very low and narrow passage to the two twin rooms are part and parcel of renting an old character cottage. Theres a wonderful tranquility to the cottage that in my opinion, is worth the hire cost alone. Near silence (birdsong and the very occasional plane or car creeping by) and supRead moreerb views allow any stress to almost instantly drop away upon arrival. Theres a lot to do nearby, with beaches, rivers and shopping all a short drive away. And plenty of opportunities for walking. Hide
