Other attractions within walking or short driving distance from the accommodation include the Norfolk Broads Museum which is less than half a mile away – a great way to discover the history of boating and The Norfolk Broads. Don’t miss a trip to BeWILDerwood, a tree-top adventure in Horning, which is the perfect way to spend time if you have young children. If you fancy a day in the city, Norwich (16 miles) is worth your while. The Weavers’ Way runs through Stalham and provides good walking and cycling opportunities.

The lounge offers comfortable seating for all where you can unwind in front of the open fire while a film plays on the Smart TV, or perhaps appreciate some quiet reading time. Allow the designated chef to become acquainted with the well-equipped kitchen, and either fill up on a full English fry-up around the breakfast table before you head out for the day, or gather your loved ones in the dining room to feast over drawn-out evening meals around the large dining table. A cloakroom completes the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find four neat bedrooms including a king-size with an en-suite shower room and another king-size, both with views of the river. There are two twin bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a separate WC.

At the front of the property, the grounds run right up to the edge of the River Ant. The cottage is nestled within the owner’s boatyard, where daily motor launches are available for private hire. River fishing is also available right on the doorstep (seasonal and licence required).
