One of two Pullman Coaches located at Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway line, this exquisite railway carriage has been converted into a unique retreat, designed for an idyllic getaway. Compact, but with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay, step into the charming lounge/diner, where you’ll find inviting seating, a crackling wood burner and a raised TV for cosy nights in. Here, you’ll also find the dining table, with ample space for all to enjoy the delights cooked in the well-equipped kitchen nearby. When day turns to night, find the two sumptuous bedrooms that await, a double master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and a cosy twin that benefits from a well-appointed, separate shower room. For an additional, smaller guest, unfold a convenient Z bed in the lounge.

Outside, revel in the fenced sensory garden at the front and unwind in the fenced patio area with a picnic bench at the rear, surrounded by a communal garden. Enjoy the convenience of complimentary parking for one car, with an option to pre-book a second space.

What absolutely stunning and unique property the Pullmans coaches are! And in such a beautiful location, with sea front 2 minutes away, a railway station a stones throw, and a breath taking miniature railway running past the rear garden. The accommodation is fully equipped, ideal for catering for yourself. Or the village has plenty of places to eRead moreat. 20 minutes drive inland will take you to Wast Water lake, and to scafell Pike, along with many other mountains. The price for a weeks stay, and in peak holiday season was an absolute bargain. Simple magical.... Hide
