Located in the heart of the quiet and historic seaside village of East Runton, this flint cottage offers a comfortable and welcome retreat for friends and family. Expect to find a wonderful blend of coastal charm and local attractions, making it an ideal destination for seaside lovers and adventurers. Nestled on the stunning North Norfolk coast, East Runton invites visitors to explore its golden sandy beach, perfect for sun-soaked summer days, leisurely walks and water sports. For nature and history enthusiasts, nearby Incleborough Hill (0.5 miles), Felbrigg Hall (2.5 miles), Beeston Bump (3 miles), and Sheringham Park (3.5 miles) offer scenic hiking trails, which includes part of Pedder’s Way and stunning panoramic views of the coastline. Nearby coastal towns include Sheringham (3.5 miles) popular for its “Poppy” steam train line to Holt and nostalgic 1940s weekends, and Cromer (1.5 miles), famous for its crab sandwiches and end-of-pier shows.

Entering from the porch, you’ll find the family dining area. This light and airy room shows off the character of the cottage with its original red Norfolk tiles and wooden beams dating from 1780, when the cottage was built. Next door is the newly refurbished modern kitchen with an adjoining walk-in larder/utility room. This well-equipped kitchen offers guests the opportunity to create a range of meals during their stay. Follow the original flint hallway and you’ll find the bathroom, with a separate WC next door. Continue to the original stable, now one of two comfortable reception rooms. It boasts original flint walls and exposed shipwrecked beams surrounding a cosy lounge. Off the stable lies the ground floor's double bedroom and in the next room, there is a second reception room, known as the snug. Upstairs plays host to two bedrooms, one king-size and one double. Both are light and airy, serviced by a large modern shower room with WC.

Head outside to enjoy the cottage's large open garden with a lawn and small patio. This peaceful setting is the perfect spot to listen to birdsong as you enjoy the last of the day's sunshine.

This is an exceptional cottage. Really lovely, with a home from home feel. Very well stocked kitchen in terms of utensils, dishes, pans etc. Beautifully furnished, lovely picturesque location, and very quiet. It really is an excellent base for key areas around Norfolk.
