Discover this beautifully presented ground-floor apartment ideally located within 1 mile of the vibrant High Street and the stunning beach of Southwold. Reydon itself is a lovely village with a couple of village stores and a hotel with a restaurant and bar. It is popular with cyclists and walkers looking to explore the beautiful Suffolk countryside, and is divided from Southwold by Buss Creek, a narrow stretch of water where the fishing boats of long ago used to tie up. Explore the historic town of Southwold; visit art galleries and independent shops, and tour the Adnams Brewery. See the pier, the iconic lighthouse and the pastel-coloured beach huts, and enjoy fabulously fresh seafood. Head down to the harbour where you can hop onboard the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only).

This attractive retreat has been furnished to a high standard with modern interiors, whilst sympathetically retaining its period features. The welcoming hallway invites you in with muted parquet flooring, contemporary wall lights and a writing desk. At the front of the property, the lounge provides ample seating and a Smart TV for cosy nights in. The bright open-plan kitchen/diner with views out onto the garden has been tastefully put together, with beautiful marble worktops and all the mod cons needed for whipping up a delicious home-cooked meal. Both bedrooms (one double and one twin) boast an ornamental open fire and are dressed in lovely linens with quality mattresses, so you will undoubtedly enjoy a good night’s sleep. There is also a modern family shower room with eye-catching geometric floor tiles and brushed gold fixtures.

Outside, the rear garden is fully enclosed with a patio area for dining alfresco, and the peaceful setting is perfect for unwinding with a drink in hand or reading a good book.

The property was clean and in the main well equipped. Because it is a flat on the lower ground floor of an old house with wooden floors, sound insulation is very poor. Fortunately, the 'neighbours' weren't particulary noisy, but their conversations could sometimes be over-heard! We had a particularly cold fortnight and did suffer cool conditions inRead more the house; however, the owner explained how to over-ride the heating system to counter that somewhat. Hide

Hurn Crag House is a lovely flat and very well equipped. Has a nice garden to sit in for breakfast or just to relax. Has off street parking for one car. A very well -stocked local shop a short walk away (5 minutes) which is very convenient. Comfortable beds, property nicely decorated and clean. A nice place for a quiet break.
